Mary was born in the year 2005 and her mother died in the year 2004 as a result of HIV/AIDS complications. She was left with her father who stayed with her till the year 2007 when she was sexually abused by her father. The father was also HIV positive but luckily Mary was not infected.
Thika district hospital and the officials from the children’s department brought the child to CRC for Rescue. The father was arrested and still in custody in his death bed.
Now Mary is a happy girl going to school healthy living and always with a big smile. She like the company of the CRC Director Mr. Nelson whom she adores so much.
